Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information iBot handles, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information we handle

We may process your account profile and email from your sign-in provider, prompts and generated automation results, private automations you choose to sync, public automations you choose to publish, usage and quota records, creator information, and support messages.

Stripe processes payment-card and payout details. iBot stores billing identifiers, subscription state, purchase records, and creator onboarding status, but does not store full payment-card numbers.

Local desktop data

The local-only setting prevents iBot from syncing that automation. It does not restrict the automation itself: Python runs with your Windows permissions and can read local data or send it over the network. Review code from any source before running it. Desktop support logs stay on the device until you share them and may contain file paths or text printed by automations.

AI generation sends your prompt, previous prompt/code when revising, attachment names and metadata, and supplied context to the backend and Gemini. It does not currently send attachment file contents to Gemini. Generated automations are saved to your private workspace, including supported attached files. Browser saves and desktop automations with sync enabled send those file contents to Cloudflare D1/R2. Local-only storage does not upload them through iBot sync. Saving or importing does not publish your files.

How information is used

We use information to provide authentication, AI generation, private sync, publishing, downloads, billing, creator payouts, fraud and abuse prevention, quota enforcement, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

Service providers

iBot relies on service providers including Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Google for OAuth and Gemini-powered generation, and Stripe for subscriptions, marketplace payments, and creator onboarding. Their processing is governed by their own policies.

Cookies and security

We use necessary authentication cookies or tokens to keep you signed in. We use reasonable safeguards and restrict access to production secrets, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Retention and your choices

We retain information while needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. You may keep automations local, avoid public publishing, unpublish eligible listings, sign out, or contact us to request help with account data.

Children and changes

iBot is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service develops and will revise the date above when material changes are made.
